It was a lovely autumn day for a walk so we parked up at Chippy and Sammy’s and walked through the footpath to Sandyhurst Lane. From here we thought we would be able to take a footpath past the Eastwell Gatehouse but we had to find an alternative route. We walked down the road, past the lake and through Eastwell Church, and Eastwell Manor grounds to Boughton Aluph for a pint of lunch.
