Here's us at Snargate RL1

Not quite the picture that Sam had in mind but here we are coming back through the "Snargate"

The sign below is actually in the Red Lion (Snargate) pub beer garden where
we enjoyed “lunch part 2" and a couple more drinks
The beer was served from real barrels, cider too, and the coke from real bottles!

Leaving the pub, having made use of the quaint facilities.
It was scary in the outside loo without a light!

The Railway Hotel, next to Appledore Station, where we played darts.
I haven't played for years and it showed!!

16.05 train home and a call into our favourite in Ashford, The Riverside for a drink before returning home.

Here is the swan that didn't want to be Batty's friend despite him
breaking up some of his lunch for it
Us enjoying our picnic and drinks at Warehorne

The church opposite the pub
"You are in a field, around you must turn"
Here is the first pub that we stopped at Warehorne -
Maps are certainly better at this than Yoda. Footpaths are not known to him.
Bank Holiday Weekend Walk
5th May 2007
The route was planned by Dave and Chippy with a few pubs to visit on the way.
It was decided to start from Hamstreet Station with a short walk across country to Warehorne.
