New Year's Eve 1999

A big thank you to Jose and Maria for inviting us to their house for New Year's Eve. We all had a wonderful time - which I hope the following photographs show. Sorry that Jose's parents couldn't stay longer. The others that stuck it out - Jose, Maria, Alejandro, Andy, Richard, Steve, Amanda, Connor, Tina, Daniel and Katy.

Andy left us after we celebrated the new year with a Spanish radio station and did "the grapes thing"! Then for the UK New Year we all linked arms with crackers and pulled them on the stroke of midnight. Then there were lots of party poppers going off - which Maria is probably still finding now!! Then we went outside for the brilliant large firework that Jose bought. It was really good. Never seen one like it - 100 shots! A good night - thanks again.

Shame my car wasn't Millennium compliant and didn't quite get us there. Never mind. It'll be fixed soon.
