Bat Camp -
We didn't let the threat of rain stop us. Shame the forecasters weren't more wrong this year. We had some very heavy downpours.
Friday started out OK. Beautiful sunset. Colin was last to arrive. We'd saved him some fajitas.

The main tent and Tracie & Dave's
trailer tent

The other tents on the other side of the field. Dave S didn't camp out as he had to work on Saturday.

During Saturday morning we sheltered inside the big tent as it rained....

.....and rained. The cows took shelter under the trees. Good thing they weren't in the same field. They might have sheltered in our tent too!

When it had stopped raining, we escaped to the pub. As Colin and Bernie wanted to go into Ashford later for shopping, we went in Colin's car.

Terry & Irene joined us for dinner.
